Air Flow Straightening Add-On

The Air Flow Straightening Add-On is an optional accessory designed to focus and direct clean airflow from your air purifier. Compatible with Exhalaron and Luggable Air Purifiers, these honeycomb louvers concentrate airflow into a more defined column, helping deliver cleaner air farther in front of the purifier during personal use.

The clip-on design installs in seconds without tools and has only a minimal impact on overall Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) while improving the direction and reach of the clean air stream.

Performance

The honeycomb louvers reduce turbulent mixing between the clean air leaving the purifier and the surrounding room air, helping maintain a more concentrated stream of clean air farther from the purifier.

During testing with an Exhalaron positioned on a lap or desk, the focused airflow achieved:

Protection Factor (PF) of 3 at approximately 1 foot from the fan
Protection Factor (PF) of 2 at up to 2 feet from the fan when one fan is aimed directly at your face

A Protection Factor of 3 means the air reaching you contains approximately one-third the contaminants of the surrounding room air. A Protection Factor of 2 means the air contains approximately half the contaminants of the surrounding room air.

For the highest level of protection, align your nose with the center of a single fan rather than between two fans.

Each honeycomb louver is mounted in a durable plastic ring that clips securely onto existing fan grills. Installation takes only seconds and requires no tools.

Best Use

For personal protection, direct one fan toward your breathing zone to maximize the focused stream of clean air. In shared spaces, position the purifier in a central location with the airflow directed upward to help minimize cross-currents while the purifier continues cleaning the room through its high Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR).
