The Portable Power Adapter allows you to power compatible Clean Air Kits air purifiers from a USB-C Power Delivery (PD) wall charger, laptop USB-C port, or compatible portable power bank. It's the perfect accessory for portable air cleaning at home, while traveling, during power outages, or anywhere traditional wall power isn't available.
Unlike many USB-C to 12V adapters, this tested adapter is designed to properly negotiate 12V USB-C Power Delivery (PD) output, allowing compatible Clean Air Kits air purifiers to operate at full performance when paired with recommended power sources.
Compatibility
Compatible with supported Clean Air Kits air purifiers that use a 12V DC barrel connection.
For best results, use one of the recommended USB-C PD power banks listed on our Exhalaron product page and FAQ.
Using Your Adapter
After connecting the adapter, most compatible power banks will switch from 5V to 12V output within approximately 20 seconds. When this occurs, the power bank's indicator light should confirm it has entered 12V mode.
Many generic USB-C to 12V adapters remain at 5V output, which results in significantly reduced fan performance. This adapter has been tested with our recommended power banks to deliver the full airflow your Clean Air Kits air purifier is designed to provide.
